1. Rome, from 'Roman Holiday' (1953), by William Wyler
'A Princesa e o Plebeu' (título no Brasil) foi o primeiro filme estrelado por Audrey Hepburn na América e após sua estreia, a atriz belga conquistou não só Hollywood, mas também o Oscar, o Globo de Ouro e o BAFTA com seu papel de Ann, a princesa que finge ser plebéia por um dia.
Curiosidade: depois que a princesa Ann saltou para cima da pequena moto e saiu desgovernada pelas ruas da cidade, a marca Vespa ganhou fama no mundo todo :)

- the Mouth of Truth (Bocca della Verita), the carved stone face which supposedly bites the hands off liars. Located in the church of Santa Maria in Cosmedin, Piazza Bocca della Verita.
- Via della Stamperia 85, the barber shop where Ann has her hair cut.
- Castel Sant'Angelo: Princess Ann is invited to a night of dancing on a barge on the Tiber River by Mario Delani, the barber who gave her the new haircut.
- the Spanish Steps where Bradley (Gregory Peck) encourages the princess to cut loose a little and try a gelato.
- Joe Bradley’s apartment is on a quiet artists’ enclave, at Via Margutta 51. (Curiosidade: Federico Fellini morou com sua esposa, Giulietta Masina, nessa mesma rua, no número 110 - mais um ponto turístico interessante para os amantes do cinema).
- Sala Grande Galleria, Palazzo Colonna, at Piazza Santa Apostoli 66. Open only on Saturdays, the entrance is on Via della Pilotta 17.
2. Paris, from 'Funny Face' (1957), by Stanley Donen
From a ‘Greenwich Village’ bookstore to the most glamorous streets of Paris, the new super model Jo Stockton shows us where to take the best photo!
- The fashion shoot begins at the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel in the Jardin des Tuileries.
- Jo poses as Anna Karenina in a cloud of steam alongside the Fleche d’Or (Golden Arrow) luxury boat train at the Gare du Nord.
- Grand Staircase of the Opéra Garnier, Place de l’Opéra.
- Fishing from a boat in the River Seine, alongside the Pont des Arts.
- It’s in front of the Latona Fountain in the gardens at Chateau de Versailles that Jo recreates a romantic fairytale moment with a white dove.
- The classic movie scene.. you probably know it even if you've never seen the film before. Audrey Hepburn in a stunning red gown with chiffon scarf ballooning above her head, runs down the Daru Steps in front of the statue of Winged Victory of Samothrace in the Louvre.
- 1bis rue Cardinale - 6ème (not sure about this one): the smokey cabaret where Jo dances and talks philosophy.
- The little chapel for the ‘wedding day’ shoot is the Château de la Reine Blanche, at Rue Etang, Étang de la Loge, a lake in Coye-la-Forêt, a couple of miles south of Chantilly.
3. New York, from 'Breakfast at Tiffany's', (1961), by Blake Edwards
Following Holly Golightly footsteps and adventures through the most iconic spots of the big apple...
- Tiffany & Co Store at 727 5th Avenue and East 57th Street. Don't forget to bring a coffee and a croissant.
- Where the best parties of the town happen: Holly's Apartment, 169 East 71st Street and Lexington Avenue.
- A mystery is solved at the conservatory Water and Bandshell, located inside of the Central Park (from 66th to 75th Street).
- New York Public Library, 5th Avenue (btw 40th and 42nd Street).
- An 'Oh, I love New York!' moment at the corner of Park Avenue and East 52nd Street. (curiosidade: é nessa esquina que esta localizado o edifício onde funcionava o lendário restaurante Four Seasons - aquele mesmo, que me colocou na capa do The New York Times!)
Pronto, só preparar a pipoca e começar a "viajar" agora mesmo.. bom filme!
