Here we go again! My favorite holiday is coming: Christmas... and after all the things we've been going through in 2020, we deserve to celebrate the most wonderful and magical time of the year.
And since we're all stuck at home, why not make some cookies and watch some good and festive Christmas movies? There are a lot of new films coming to the big screen and streaming channels this month... here are the ones we are very curious about:
1. Happiest Season
Well, first one of the list had to be with our #wcw Kristen Stewart, right? 'Happiest Season' by Clea DuVall also has Mackenzie Davis and it's a a festive rom-com about going home, coming out, and popping the question. Available Nov 25 on Hulu.
2. Holidate
Speaking of rom-com... Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey join romantic forces as Sloane and Jackson, a pair of singles who agree to be each other's plus one to every holiday party. Already streaming on Netflix.
3. Operation Christmas Drop
Based on real life facts: Operation Christmas Drop is a tradition that started in 1952 that serves as a training mission for the U.S. Air Force. Starring Alexander Ludwig ex-Cato from 'The Hunger Games'. Already streaming on Netflix.
4. The Princess Switch: Switched Again
2018 film 'The princess switch' just got a sequel, and this time, there's three Vanessas Hudgens roles. She'll return as Duchess Margaret, Stacy and also a "party girl" named Fiona. Already streaming on Netflix.
5. Jingle Jangle: A Christmas Journey
The holiday musical staring Forest Whitaker as a toymaker named Jeronicus Jangle and Keegan-Michael Key as his assistant, is a tale about a Cobbleton toymaker, who needs a miracle. Already streaming on Netflix.
Comedy time with Robert De Niro and Christopher Walken. This one is about a kid who isn’t okay with his gramps laying claim to his bedroom. In theaters now.
7. Blackbird
Tears time... This indie drama from 'Notting Hill' director Roger Michell, starring Susan Sarandon, tells the story of a woman who wants one final holiday season with her family before ending her life (omg!). The movie also have Kate Winslet and Mia Wasikowska in the cast. In theaters now.
