Still speaking of movies (and how I miss going to the theatears), I've watched 'A rainy day in New York' for the 2nd time and have to confess I really miss the city. Well, I don't know why, after my experiences living there - it's not love. Actually, love is a too strong word to translate what I feel for that place... let me use a quote from Woody´s film to explain to you:
One thing about New York City. You are here or you are nowhere. You cannot achieve another level of anxiety, hostility or paranoia anywhere else.

But enough about me. My intention here is make YOU fall in love with New York so, since we're all (yet) stuck at home why not catch up with some good old classics and, in my humble opinion, the best ones by Woody Allen.
Annie Hall
(1977) with Diane Keaton and the one that put her on the Hollywood stars map
Manhattan
(1979) with Diane Keaton and Meryl Streep
Blue Jasmine
(2013) with Cate Blanchett, Alec Baldwin and Sally Hawkins
Café Society
(2016) with Blake Lively, Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg
A Rainy Day in New York
(2020) with Timothée Chalamet, Elle Fanning and Selena Gomez
Have you watched any of these? Can you recognize a pattern between characters that are similar in all of his movies? The moody character - yes, that's me! haha..
