I know, you saw a little bit of red and maybe some green, plus lots of nudes, but it's undeniable, the color (or the absence of it) that predominated Milan catwalks this season was black. Black was back in full force on every new collection presented on last week's shows, from Fendi to Prada, Versace and more...
Italian designers are known for their exceptional craftsmanship work and they definitely know how to put up a great show, but this season it was like their "feet were more on the ground", I mean, it seems the world's currently situation has affected the fashion industry. Earthy neutrals and dark denim made a comeback while the leather coat was established as a wardrobe essential piece together with the trench coat and the cardigan.
